Others more knowledgeable may be able to provide greater detail, but I'd never trust an IHD when making decisions that could have financial implications.
IHDs often mislead because their tariff information hasn't been updated, doesn't include VAT or doesn't include the standing charge.
The only way to be absolutely certain of the switching times is to look at the meter on the wall, or the neon indicator on a switched spur.
If your HHR NSH has a single supply and you set the charging times incorrectly for whatever reason, you could be charging at peak rate for part of every night and never realise.

Perfect 😃 Now you just need to look forward to some nice cold, grey weather so you can use them, won't be long 😁😁😁

Seriously, good idea to get this sorted now before the autumn rush starts. Be good to see updates from you as you start to use them. I'm sure you've made a good choice.

I best save mse forums from my ridiculous Data Use, I plan one or two more Non Screenshot updates.
Once this weeks usage and costs settle and finally from Autumn or Winter Use.
And very important as mentioned by current DQ user's, this 1.5kw version Is Room Filling Warmth, makes it 'job done'

    thanks

You won't melt today I don't think. The heat leakage from them is so low they'll just turn off. If it were an old style box of bricks you'd be having heatstroke today!
I'm a huge DQ fan. This is my first all electric property and I'm really glad I put them in.
I need one more before winter, in the second bedroom where I work, then I'll be super toasty through the winter.

Now is a good time of year to look for used ones on eBay. No-one normal buys storage heaters in the summer :)
And October-November is a good time to look for mobile aircon units, when everyone who bought one for the one hot week in the summer can't think of anywhere to store it for the winter ...
