What does it state in the NEWBIE sticky about debt letters?
Got it Le_Kirk, we are following this advice but as we couldn't appeal (email went to junk folder) and only realised when we sent a letter to ECP chasing the decision and were informed we were now out of time. The odeon had already written to them but they blocked their emails.

Ignore it. Ignore all £170 demands.

Come back if you get a court claim.

There are two main issues with ECP cases.  See the POPLA decisions thread which shows the two issues they have, one about signs and one about the NTK (especially if the keeper wasn't the driver).
PRIVATE 'PCN'? DON'T PAY BUT DON'T IGNORE IT (except N.Ireland).
