    Good morning

I rarely get up at this time of day, but I couldn't sleep due to an overactive mind.  The business kept moving in and out of my brain and the thoughts of it kept waking me up.  I'm due to do a VAT return for the quarter ended May or I should say that our bookkeeper will be asking for the paperwork from me for this period.  Anyway, I have added another column on to my new spreadsheet that I use for the business.  I exported in the bank transactions from the past few days.  Re-ordered some of those and then put the formulas in to calculate the VAT for me.  I am relieved that there is enough money in the account to pay the VAT bill.  We are also due money back from insurance as a lorry had hit the building and damaged the CCTV.  We have already paid the cost to have everything repaired so it will be good to get that money back into the account.

Hopefully I have emptied enough of my brain muddlings on here that I can now go back to sleep.  I'm working at my own job later on today and would like to be well rested before I start.  I also failed to detail on here that although I had a day off from my own job on Thursday, I did the wages for the business on Thursday night and I do this weekly.

Shall be back later, with a bit of luck.

Just sat and worked out that my monthly direct debits currently total £1,593.65.  Food and fuel money would be required on top of this.

£1696.99 per month required so far for everything I can think of, excluding food and fuel.  Have not put anything in for an emergency fund as I already have that saved.  Equivalent to £55.79 per day.
