Mobile carrier / service provider that lets customer disable caller ID from their own device?

Besides that, somewhere in the phone settings, including my Android, you may be able to find the facility to hide or show your number, or network default
Edit: or on a call by call basis, try prefixing the dialled number with #31#
#31# - doesn't work. Instead you receive a message saying 'setting succeeded calling line ID restriction'.
Three have removed this option.
I'm asking what other providers allow customers to disable caller ID from their own device. I'm not keen on O2 (they're useless with customer service), I'll take a look at EE. Thanks.
For example: #31#07123456789 <SEND>I spent 25 years in the mobile industry, from 1994 to 2019. Worked for indies as well as the big networks, in their stores also in contact centres. I also hold a degree in telecoms engineering so I like to think I know what I’m talking about 😂0 -

I've just tried #31# to call my landline, and it works fine. The call showed up as withheld. You have to type in #31# just before typing in the number you want to call. So, if the number to call is 01234567890, then you should type #31#01234567890.2 -

Outgoing message says 'hide ID is not available through 141, please use your handset menu options'. And, yet I can't do this with my device or 2 other devices I've tried. Three are no help.0 -
141 works on 1P mobile and displays witheld to who you called, on three 141 has not worked for ages

I’m on SMARTY and I can turn off show my caller id via the menu system. So, it doesn’t extend to MVNO’s.0

Three are no help. You have been supplied with the answer to this. It works on Three, you just have to prepend #31# to the number you're calling.Just tried, yet again, a minute ago, and my mobile call came out as withheld on my landline phone.0 -
Lebara, Vodafone. Searched for Caller ID in settings, Android.
