Three mobile have updated their policy and no longer allow customers to disable their own caller ID without customer asking permission from Three each time you want to place a call with caller ID disabled. https://community.three.co.uk/t5/Network/Toggling-caller-id-on-and-off/td-p/9813
Which mobile phone carriers / service providers allow you to make this decision from your device that have good reception and coverage?
Three has been consistently getting worse, with repeated dropping reception in London. I'd like both the ability to control the use of my own device caller ID and have good reception.
Thanks

From what I can see, 141 works on two networks at least, EE and O2, and perhaps on the rest too
Besides that, somewhere in the phone settings, including my Android, you may be able to find the facility to hide or show your number, or network default
Edit: or on a call by call basis, try prefixing the dialled number with #31#1 -
On my Android currently with Talkmobile, I can disable/enable own number sending from the phone app /settings/calling accounts/advanced settings/callerID - this terminology doesn't feel right but confusingly this does give me the option to hide/show my own number in outgoing calls1

#31# - doesn't work. Instead you receive a message saying 'setting succeeded calling line ID restriction'.
Three have removed this option.
I'm asking what other providers allow customers to disable caller ID from their own device. I'm not keen on O2 (they're useless with customer service), I'll take a look at EE. Thanks.0 -
