ArbitraryRandom I too keep stuff under the bed. I have an ottoman bed so big storage space under. Have some spare clothing in there and some crafting things plus my gift box - I store all my gifts for birthdays & christmas. I've almost finished Christmas shopping from the sales for 2024. Always have a good few extras "just in case" plus things I intend to make into gifts that I sell.Think I will spend time this weekend seeing if I can make some space for toiletries and medical - we have quite a few bits already but never hurts to have extras of disinfectant/antiseptics etc plus sanitary items. Thanks for idea.Saving 1 animal wont change the world - but it will change the world for that 1 animal

I have found it interesting reading how people still manage to store things in small houses. My house really lacks both space and built in storage. I have a drop down ladder to the loft and do store some things such as toilet rolls, Christmas presents up there. We have are getting a quote tomorrow from a builder to add some fitted wardrobes, but it won't add much storage as the rooms themselves are small.
I am focusing just now on tidying out drawers and working out what is most beneficial to keep. I hope by the end of the year that my limited space will be more efficiently used. We are also thinking of buying a freezer for the garage to allow me to freeze allotment produce.9 -

Also, make sure any freezer for an external building is a garage-safe one - they are usually marked as such. From memory, Beko do them at reasonable prices.2021 Decluttering Awards: ⭐⭐🥇🥇🥇🥇🥇🥇 2022 Decluttering Awards: 🥇

@mumf, I'm so sorry to hear about your illness.
May I add my thoughts to those already given... When my Dad passed away last year, I found that because we had Lasting Power of Attorney set up, both financial and health, the businesses I had to contact to cancel his contracts, all accepted the LPA as evidence that I could arrange everything. May be worth checking finances so Mrs mumf can access all your accounts etc.
Sending caring thoughts and prayers.2025 Fashion on the ration

Took and printed photos of things that are special to me and why.

My ex died a couple of years ago and our son wanted the history of certain possessions.

@sammy_kaye18 Mine doesn't have a special setting, but from what I gather, you put thin slices in the basket in a single layer (I would recommend a rack if you can get one to fit for a second layer), set your air fryer to the lowest heat (I've seen from 40-80 degrees suggested) and have it on for a few hours (again I've seen from 3-8 hours). Similar to instructions for using a full oven but on a smaller scale.
Seems a good thing to experiment with, but depending on the size of your basket and how much you intend to use it (if it's to manage garden gluts), a second hand dehydrator might be worth getting if you see one - as you can better control air flow through multiple layers and fit more in.I'm not an early bird or a night owl; I’m some form of permanently exhausted pigeon.10 -
Just stocked up on tea. Warning in the paper that all the unrest around the Red Sea will have an effect in anything coming via that route. Sorry but we can’t go without tea in this house. I think our blood group is now Yorkshire tea!! Anyway am stocking with a variety of brands too.Don’t forget, bit teaching granny to suck eggs here, to check your stock/stash/pantry shelves and the backs of the cupboards for anything which doesn’t cope with going over it’s BBF date. I recently found some baking flavourings that were a few years OOD and they were vile.I’m also stocking up on nectar points by buying from the extra points list I get emailed monthly. Only buying what we eat but it all adds up when you can get 10 extra points here and there.Saving 1 animal wont change the world - but it will change the world for that 1 animal

Either way I have had a good clear out now.
Looking into making sourdough as well as I heard it is a lower GI index and therefore better for me having diabetes so researching that at the minute.
Also saw the news about tea etc so have made sure to add some more to the shopping list. I have several - a ginger/lemon one, a spearmint with licorice and lemon and then decaf tea.Time to find me again10
