I switched from BT to Zen and when Zen installed they terminated and put the box exactly where I wanted, no internal wiring needed and no trouble since.

or more accurately, when Zen ordered service on your behalf, the network operator staff (or their contractor) put the equipment where you wanted it , Zen did nothing apart from submit your address to them .
