New tarriff information email received this evening. I am out of the fixed period, so on Sparkling SVT. Hopefully everyone else receives their email soon.1

got email but it looks like they increasing the fixed tariff I was on prior to October 2022. Which sounds very dodgy.so now I have to either pay £100 a year more or fix until march 24 and pay 4p more per kwh.might see what rates other suppliers start to have from july as dont want to fix until march when enery costs are dropping.0

I got this email from GEUK today. I'm on V6 in London, that matures in September. The new unit rates don't look too bad, except the dreaded SC!!And it's still with no exit fees.I think it might be OK to accept this deal for now until the other suppliers start fighting for customers again. What do you think?

Definitely going to need to look into this more.
I'm on a few with them till Sept but their offer for a new fix to March for elec
34.70 unit55.02 sc
That standing charge😲
I didn't realise my current SC was so high compared to other areas with them too. I would have expected London to be not quite so drastically different. Is the tariff referenced above a non fixed one? (Assuming the significant difference is due to this)
Current SC 43.391 -
Also had the email, also on v6 but in the Midlands.
My gas deal offer is identical, but a much higher standing charge on the electricity. Will be interested to see if this is the same for others local to me.Doesn’t make a huge difference overall, so I’m minded to accept the fix through to March 24.0 -
My offer - not impressed, should I be?

Not competitive at all. With most other companies dropping their charges from the 1st July I will be paying more. I have signed up to octopus this morning ( using a friend's referral to get £50), swap date 19th, no brainer for me and I can leave without paying an exit fee for when hopefully the competition opens up again.0

I've decided to stay with GEUK and accept their deal to March 2024. I'm a low user and I worked out that the only big difference is the daily standing charge which will increase my summer costs by about £3.00 a month. It's a no fee exit deal so I'll wait until October/November when the bills WILL go up and hopefully there will be other choices on the market by then and will look at switching then.
