GEUK rates from 1st July 2023?

Hi.
Does anyone know what the unit and SC rates that GEUK will be charging from 1st July? They are not necessarily covered by the Ofgem price cap and their website still shows the current (Q2) rates.
Any GEUK customers have more info?

If you are/were on a fix (e.g. Sparkling 2023 V6 as I am) then I imagine your originally contracted rates.
For the April 1 change they sent an email 2 weeks prior to that so perhaps we may expect similar in ~2 weeks from now.

I'm hoping, but not expecting, that they will be offering a tariff at the new Ofgem price cap rates. There are no exit fees with GEUK.

In March, GEUK said that they were changing Sparkling to be a Standard Variable Tariff, not fixed, so it would qualify for the EPG discount.  So the price cap will apply.

Edit: Should have said I've been with GEUK a long while so March is when my previous fix ended. So maybe those who joined more recently might have longer to wait.

last  (mid-March) document from them to me that addressed this:
"While your contracted prices remain fixed until September 2023, there are some adjustments to the government's support rates which is why you may see a change to your prices."
  • Just bumping this to see if anyone had heard anything?
Are GEUK cutting their Sparkling Tariff from 1st July to bring it into line with the Ofgem price cap?

Not heard anything, I doubt they will because it is a fixed tariff - and GEUK are exempt from the price cap on their standard variable tariff anyway.

Have you not contacted GEUK direct? You started this post on 30th May surely they could have answered your question directly?

My grandparents are switching from their fix with GEUK to Octopus just before 1st July.

GEUK called them to check why and they didnt say they would make their fix the price cap rates so doubt that will happen.

As I said earlier, going by my limited personal experience I wouldn't expect to hear from them until ~2 weeks before the change, so probably ~10 days time.

I was with GEUK for their fix but switched to octopus tracker, making absolutely massive savings.
