It's the transcripts you need. Not quotes.

Oh, I must have misunderstood then?

I though the transcript must be attached as an exhibit, but within my WS i have to quote part of it how this case/transcript is relevant to my own case? Similarly to what I did with Jopson (I quoted the bits of the case that are relevant to my own case and pointing the Judge to the relevant para from the Jopson transcript that I am also attaching as an exhibit?)

No that's correct.  Of course you have to refer to the exhibits.

I was replying because you asked "is it enough to quote from them?" And I said no.

  • Oh i see. Thank you.

So since I am not able to do that for now, can I please ask if my WS is still strong enough without mentioning PCM v Bull at all?

If not, is it ok to leave it out for now but send it off as a Supplementary WS in August when I will have the time to come back to it?

  • Phew! Thank you!

I will first wait and see if they pay court fees one month before the scheduled hearing and if not, I will hopefully not even need to do a Supplementary WS as i am still desperately hoping that they will discontinue this whole **** before the deadline.

I have a pdf of PCM v Bull, if it helps. If it is not against Forum rules, you could PM me your email address and I could send it as an attachment
The pen is mightier than the sword ..... and I have many pens.
  • Thank you for the link LDast and thank you so much for the offer to help Trainerman, REALLY appreciate it in this time of super extreme stress!
  • A quick question please before my husband starts printing our Exhibits at work today. I am going to do what the GS legal assistant did in his WS, which is to provide each exhibit with an A4 sheet if the basic claim info and exhibit No.

I noticed that he headed the WS itself and each exhibit with "In The County Court at Bromley" even though the hearing will take place at the Royal Courts of Justice.

It was initially allocated to Bromley, so I assume the place of hearing is not as important?

So the GS Legal assistant didn't make a mistake and I do as he's done and use Bromley in all headers, correct?

    Thank you
