Is Lycamobile as bad at Customer Services as all reviews say?

  • Lycamobile are the worst for customer care.
    I bought one of these sims for 94p
    Everything was okay until I had to contact customer care.
    My debit card was out of date and I got a text message to say my payment had failed.
    contacted customer care who said I needed to register online and update my card details and top up from there. Which I did. £30 plus a free £10 from them.
    Service stopped working a few days later.
    I thought the payment hadn’t gone through to them so did the same again. Silly mistake.
    Again after a few days, it stopped again.
    Called customer service who said I had no plan on my account and was on a pay as you go.
    Didn’t have a clue about this?
    No text message to say that if you change your payment details your plan finishes.
    Anyway, I hardly use my internet but was being charged £1 just to connect.
    So the £80 was all gone.
    They aren’t very good when you call them and take days to answer emails.
    Really poor.
    I’m trying to get my PAC code to transfer my number to my new provider but due to the 3p credit no messages are sending.
    I have been without my phone for about a month now.
    Don’t have a landline and now I’m waiting for them to email me my code.
    Don’t do it, it’s not worth the hassle.
