There mas no mention of an offer with the gammons so I thought it probably wouldn't work. Plus I was with my mother in law who is far to honest about everything!!

Absolute chaos at Cheshunt in Hertfordshire - been busy since 5am apparently...and no, the super discount didn't work - just the £5....tried it with 1 and 2 gammons (followed the detailed instructions re: type of gammon).

Eureka - got my 2 gammons for NOTHING!!!!!
Chose a till with a yawning teenager, but ny the time I'd emptied the trolly he had metamorphosed into a spritely old lady. I chatted about some flowers that were reduced to 20p - had a horrible moment when a gammon wouldn't scan so she had to type in the bar code, then there was a query over points and a bottle of wine I had bought so she rang for the supervisor. I very kindly said not to bother as i didn't want to hold up the queue.
After all that my receipt showed gammon at £22.75 and £23.77 - multibuy savings buy 1 save £5 ( took off £10 ) then gammon buy 1 save £5 (took off £36.52!!)
