Mine were sell by 26 Dec, so do you think they are just trying to shift them before they close for Christmas without having to reduce them at the last minute to £5 anyway?

most of mine were 1st of jan

Well I have tried at 2 diff Tescos, and had to have "forgotten my credit card" at the till, as full amount clocked up (gulp)
I did try scanning first at second store - and scanned at full price, so I was hoping the glitch would kick in when 2 went thru - but it didn't.
Haven't got time left to check out all the other Tescos, but thanks to op, and congrats to those who it has worked for.
I managed te get some really nice pre-packed ham in Asda reduced from £2.69 to 20p, so got several packs of that - saves me more cooking ;), and sorts out Xmas tea.:D
  • I can confirm it works in Stoke.... i've just been and purchased 6.. and dumb !!! i am i scanned my bl00dy club card. Habits die hard .....Christmas day i'm gonna have Mr.T knocking on my door wanting my gammon :-). I'm tempted to go to another store and do a bandit run lol, but that would be greedy of me!!!

I did make sure tho that they were over £20 each. Looks like you have to have 2 for it to go through... ive just had £130 worth for £30 quid............MERRY CHRISTMAS !!

    Tesco
    Wiltshire Cured
    Unsmoked/smoked
    Part boned
    Gammon Joint

Dressed in brown 1cm gauge netting beneath outer clear polypack and over clear cryovac packaging, occasionally with soft poly outer bag, usually situated in end cold cab ABOVE bone in joints. Those of you not hitting on this offer it is because you are picking up the WRONG packs, the correct packs are around 8k+ in weight as opposed to bone in which can range up to 10.5k

Not to be confused with the larger Tesco bone in Gammon/Ham joint.
Price should be between £20.50 - £23.95 The larger Bone in joints priced around £15.50-£19.50 are NOT subject to this glitch.

  • Hi Guys

I got into the store and picked up 2 priced over £20 took them to the till ready to use the excuse "I haven't got my credit card" but happy to say the came to £10 for the 2.

Well of course I got greedy, as you do, and picked up the last 3 priced over £20 and happily did more shopping only to find that these 3 went through at £10 EACH.

But hey, still a great bargain!! Much needed for a single mom on disability at christmas.

    Thanks for a great find!!

Merry Christmas ans Bargain filled New Year to all :D :j
