Declaring June at £371.29/£400
At the halfway point in the year, I have a cash surplus of over £400 but I now need to restock the meat freezer and get a stock of laundry liquid, fabric conditioner, dishwasher tabs, loo roll and sundry items like ziplock bags, foil and baking parchment.
Definitely on target but still being cautious when I shop.
Thanks as always for keeping the threads on track and I’ll see you over on the July thread.6 -
Didn’t get round to going to Aldi, have just been getting things we need from coop. Dog has had an upset stomach so been buying her chicken from there along with bread, milk, salad, reduced items. Ordering the teachers wine gifts from Tesco whilst 25% off so have added a few things to the basket which I’ll be taking out of Junes spends but won’t be delivered until Saturday night.
new total £356.67/400

£200 budget, £199.75 spent, just £0.25 left over.
We shopped at Asda as we were passing, milk, fruit and veg which could go on the July budget, but there is enough left here to cover it. With an offer and a yellow sticker item,
£15.75 spent
I increased the budget for June as we were recovering from Covid. We had a bit more fruit, milk, and fish, and ate more eggs.6 -
Closing June at £311.97 which is £41.97 over budget.
I WILL do better and keep to budget in July. Well. I am going to try my absolute best! See you over there.
