A mid month check in from me. I've been doing some juggling of budgets as I'm overspent on one and underspent on groceries. Anyway, the long and short of it is that I've just done a Lidl's shop which will last to 23rd June.£146 balance to last til 30th June8

Struggling this month if I am honest. £29.00 Spent in sainsburys today bringing this months total so far to £331.73 /£350 and we are only half way tbrough the month. We went to Sainsburys for juice then DH fancied salad. 😱. Now it is really difficult to get him to eat fruit or veg so of course we got it. Apparently he prefers vine tomatoes! Well I went along with it as I am happy that he is trying to eat more healthily. To be honest our weakness has been ice cream and lollies. We have been combining raspberys and strawberrys from the garden with icecream for puds over the last few days. Drastic measures are called for now so lasagne tomorrow, sweet and sour chicken with rice on Saturday and pasty with chips on Sunday all from freezer.craft stash 2023 =161, 2024 = 119 2025 = £17.98 spent, 128 made and 5 mended,

£124.35 spent in total. There was a salmon en croute in that, and a couple of drinks, so it's not surprising I'm a little ahead of where I should be. I should be alright until Monday, when I'll need milk, veg sausages, fruit and probably potatoes.Fashion on the Ration 2025 - 17.5 coupons remaining

A quick shop at Aldi, milk, evap, cold-pressed rapeseed oil, ground coffee, sultanas, fruit and veg, including salad. I can’t see the sunflower seeds on the receipt. The person at the till was in a bit of a rush.

I've been terrible at updating this, life's been hectic! But making a conscious effort for the rest of the month!
Massively failing on my shopping budget already this month!! I haven't been able to get to Asda much this month, so have been doing basket shops at Iceland which have ended up super expensive, so I'm already at £296 / £250 and we're only half way through the month... ouch!February NSDs: 0 / 10

Dont worry @lianne1984 you are not the only one! I dont know if it is the cost of living prices soaring, extra lollies and icecream, the urge to spring clean, extra guests or the different food we are eating in this heat but I dont seem able to anticipate what I am going to spend.
Another £25.75 spent today at Aldi. Eggs and other cake making bits not in stores, sandwich fillings, cereal, milk, bleach, salad stuff and a few other bits. (niece and husband dropping in tomorrow morning after festival) also trying to stop DH buying so many sweet treats. Made 3 cakes. 2 for tomorrow and 1 for freezer. Only have £5 left for this week.
I will add it to the £35 unspent and saved from why was left from before.
I will need to stock up the freezer later next week, but I aim to do so as cheaply as so may be dipping into what I've saved as well as going into Iceland and raising whatever reduced section I pass.
I will really need to save the pennies to stock up the cupboards for winter as I've been using up what I have.Decluttering campaign 2023
