morning all
bright and sunny here, too. i have done wm x 2, so that needs pegging out and dw x1, so that needs emptying. Left knee clearly feeling left out so it’s joined in the pain fest, late to the party as everywhere else has settled down. Been popping the painkillers. Ho hum.
Anyway i slept well enough, so it was worth it.
Spent my vertical half hour ironing or i’m going to have a mountain again. Almost cleared the pile. now having a coffee and the rest of the tablets. Off to the hospital in steel city later. Can’t remember exactly which appointment this is - either radiography and/or chemo follow up or new tablet discussion, consent and bloods appt. But i know when and where so that’s the main thing.
i have ordered lots of swimming costumes as i’m hoping to join the class soon. Sparks offer on. Hope one fits. pick up is tomorrow.
Need to ‘christen’ tea as my mum would say. Am driving past a Mr M en route…
Need to bin bag dance as it’s black bin day tomorrow.
Have a good day all xDon't put it DOWN; put it AWAY"I would like more sisters, that the taking out of one, might not leave such stillness" Emily DickinsonJanice 1964-2016

Dog woke me up at 530 so wasn’t worth going ask to sleep until the alarms so got up fed dog and the birds and put some huts out for squirrel. Hung washing out and walked the dog before leaving for work. Back at lunchtime, one wet poopy pad no another missed attempt on the runner so cleaned that up then brought washing in.
Pm at work then quick walk down to Mr A to find something for my dinner as forgot to get chicken breast out. Fancied chicken satay salad so bought chicken breast 🙄 as I have 3 bags in the freezer.
Had a cuppa and a doze and have now cooked and sniffled my dinner while WhatsApping DH and DD. Have shared pics with them of how clean the house is looking when they are not here 😂
Wiped the hob as soon as I finished cooking, go me and am about to go and start bathroom.Mortgage, we're getting there with the end in sight £6587 07/23, otherwise free of the debt thanks to MSE help!6 -

aww i’m sad about Tina Turner. i don’t have ‘a’ favourite song, there are lots I love. Nut bush City Limits has been on that list since it was released.
I have been to sign up for the new drug, i will be given medication to counter the common side effect. It is not a pleasant side effect. I have booked my next blood test. i have (finally) put the emergency advice phone number in my phone, also the number to book the blood tests. I am perfectly capable of being organised - see! My friend is bringing the thermometer she loaned me back as neutropenia is also a risk, this new drug can impact the immune system like chemo. I have to carry an emergency card, too, as with chemo.
I went to Mr Ms, bought salmon for tea, milk (see reference to being organised, above) as we are halfway down the current one, and fuel, as it’s much cheaper there than it is here. All of 10 miles away. I drive right by it, made sense.
Came home, ate ice lolly, tidied round and made tea. Dried washing brought in.Don't put it DOWN; put it AWAY"I would like more sisters, that the taking out of one, might not leave such stillness" Emily DickinsonJanice 1964-2016

Today hasn't been an enormous flyday as I was at uni.
DW on and other washing up done
Put a few tomatoes in growbags.
Rang a friend who's been ill lately to arrange a visit.
Rang another friend (disabled) to get her shopping list as her daughter is ill so can't do it.
that doesn't sound much written down.....but at least I'm not working tomorrow (or at least, not doing an assessment - still have plenty to write up). Really hoping I can galvanise myself into achieving a great deal so I don't feel so daunted.Remember...a layer of dust protects the wood beneath it.8 -
Good morning all
Narco - you might not have ‘done much’ but you have been a caring person. Supporting people is incredibly important as I now know.
Flying…just done some shredding on cheap rate leccy and emptied the shredder afterwardsDon't put it DOWN; put it AWAY"I would like more sisters, that the taking out of one, might not leave such stillness" Emily DickinsonJanice 1964-2016

We will very much miss Tina Turner too.. such a sad loss to the music world.
Narco.. you did so much more than flying. Love and care means so much more and has a much longer lasting impact than cleaning the kitchen!
Secondary school visit with Dot at 10:30... I ust have to find some shoes which don't hurt my feet.. but not my scratty trainers which do not look nice with my flowery dress..
Kitchen S&S when I have returned and recovered. 2x WM and a parcel to sort
