I know if you use BT but consider using that with an EE pay as you go £10 a month top up, personally I use Android phones visit an EE shop to enquire for something you'll be happy using.

    P. S I like it with unused data rollover and free BOOST for every 4 top up you get Data or calls boost.  I'm using Sony Xperia and have for years stuck with sony.

With the move to 4G I'm going to have to start looking for another mobile.
Use only for calls and texts but want to keep the function for the net just in case.

Currently have a small samsung smart phone that I'm very happy with. £50, very second hand, unlocked.
SAMSUNG GT- 19100 - and it fits in my bag pocket tightly
The 2 local dealers, rural location, are insisting that it has to be £150-200 second hand.......

I'd like to get the same size, unlocked but I'm floundering.
I see something on Amazon for 'refurbished'. How reliable is that? Returning and another would be a small nightmare.
    Don't do Ebay.
Tescos has a random selection that is often sold out and not sure about it being really unlocked.
I plan to go to the county town where there's a big established store to see what they have but it's a long trip, parking nightmare. The benefit that I can see and feel the phone.

    Any thoughts would be helpful.
Wouldn't it be nice if you could just convert your existing phone to 4G.
You've got the pixel 7a, iphone 14 and sumsung S21
