Well how on earth does that exist and G: "sim only deals" which brings here among other places, doesn't find it !!!

I bought a memorable number and then decided to change my number and ended up keeping that sim after not using it for some months. My brain somehow decided to start reusing it and port each sim alternately. Now you've asked I honestly am not sure but I think it stemmed from not being able to port from one lyca sim, to another lyca sim. And that turned into moving from lyca to lebara and taking in turns. All pointless in my brain now.

It's true if you want to use that number for unlimited calls. You can't move your number (directly) from one intro offer to another on the same network. So your two options are;
Alternate from one network to the other
Or;
Port your number to a donor sim then port it back to your original network after rejoining.

Option 2 is favoured by a lot of people who like lebara but dislike lyca, or those who have reception issues.

But at current prices you can get 6gb across the two networks for £11.76 per year porting each number every six months rather than three, halving your costs and admin time.

Amazing stuff savergrant, I came here thinking I was doing well and yea, I was. sharing some great information and a way of getting bills cheaper. £24 and possibly £18. But now that has been blown out the water. But it sticks that this information wasn't forthcoming when searching and still landing on this site being shown the same deals (sic) by the same companies at a higher price.
