    It means them looking at the small print of any legislation which eventually appears and knowing the process for a landlord to end a tenancy for a good tenant, there will have to be some, just as there are for commercial 'good' tenants.

    For me it would probably be due to me wanting to move back into the property due to a relationship breakdown.

    I think there may be a large gap between what the law perceives / defines as a good tenant and what an accidental landlord considers a good tenant to be !.

    Looking at the official announcement this morning ahead of the parliamentary action, it’s clear that almost all of the measures outlined within the Fairer Renting white paper will be included.

    Is that deemed a reasonable reason to issue a notice?

    Or will they be forced to sell with sitting tenants?

    My understanding from what I've read before today is that while the Section 21 is being removed, Section 8 is being rewritten and will include the provision for the sale of the property.
