They will be available with either petrol or diesel engines and automatic or manual - hooray* - gearboxes. The photo in the original post is of a Tourneo Connect with a decidedly unflattering colour scheme, and has been taken at an odd angle. Pictures of normally coloured examples taken at better angles make the design look rather less ugly. Perhaps there will be a more car-like derivative on the same underpinnings.
More important than looks is will it make a big step forward in EV provision, or is it a budget 'last hurrah' for the ICE engines?
