We will get used to it.There was a time when the ugliest car on the road was a Nissan Joke. Now every manufacturer has a clone of it, and people don't think anything of it.There is a Sunbeam Alpine round here that comes out in the sun. I think it is a really ugly car, the shape is just wrong. The headlights droop down too low, like it has melted, and the rear wings are far too high and angular. But back in The Olden Days, they were really attractive. Most Olden Days cars look "wrong" now, the body is too low and the glass and roofline too tall, I am just used to modern proportions.I want to go back to The Olden Days, when every single thing that I can think of was better.....

I won't. It was ugly when it came out and all the clones are ugly too.facade said:We will get used to it.There was a time when the ugliest car on the road was a Nissan Joke. I don't like the high waistline and smaller glasshouse combination. I know there are reasons for it - side impact protection, maximising interior space etc. and fatbelly is right
they may be very practical for some people and good value where function overrides form. But I'll never stop thinking they are ugly.fatbelly said:Stupid name + ugly car = great valueI need to think of something new here...0

Thankfully other car brands and models are available.
In the UK the Fiesta is now the Puma.0

But very easy to pick out in a car park. I was gutted when I had to replace my Berlingo with a Ford Focus. Too low down, small boot height, looked the same as every other car.NBLondon said:

It looks very practical to me, I may go back to buying a Ford again when the Volvo dies. Thinking about it though, I'll probably die before the Volvo.Tall, dark & handsome. Well two out of three ain't bad.0

I don't think the paint scheme does it any favours, an all over metallic would be better. Looks OK as a van 0 0

It's a people carrier, people are going to buy it based on how much internal space it has an how easy it is to deal with kids puking in the back.
Is it really any worse than the Fiat Doblo?

Is the car an electric vehicle or an ICE engine? if the latter does it have a wet belt system?0
