Zopa, rate increase?

Maybe in the next 2 weeks but you usually have to get 7 or 31 day notice to even compete with other instant access rates. And Investec and Oaknorth beat their 3 month access. As someone said in another thread, Zopa is the new Marcus, they just aren't good any more.1

Zopa just opened a new cash and fixed Isa pots.0

I like the Zopa app, but not enough to leave cash there working less hard than elsewhere....7 day pot notice expired this am..moved all but £1 out into 2 other EA accounts with better rates... total time spent prob less than writing this post .... if their rates improve, will move it back...cant see the point wondering what they may/may not do in an EA account...isn't that the whole point ?0

Where did you read this ? They were given permission by HMRC to launch Cash ISAs last year but they aren't available yet.francoghezzi said:Zopa just opened a new cash and fixed Isa pots.0 -

Ex Sg27 (long forgotten log in details)Massive thank you to those on the long since defunct Matched Betting board.0 -
Ah, OK. That's odd - they're not showing as an option for me (latest version of the Android app). Maybe they're rolling this out gradually.Stargunner said:

Those fixed ISA rates are very competitive but why would they bother to offer an easy access cash ISA at 2.5% when you can easily get 3.50% elsewhere ?1 -
ISA and Fixed Isas were showing on the Zopa statements months ago so looks like they have been finally added to the app. Not bad rates for them but the 90day fee for a withdraw from the 1 year year fixed is not as good as Virgin 60day fee currently. And virgin is currently 4.31. My moneys out of Zopa currently until they raise their smart saver rates.1

You are cool dudes if you held back your cash ISA for this currently tax year.

If you think the rates are crap, where can you get much better fixed ISA rates?Sg28 said:
