    Chip ISA

Does not seem to allow me to using debit card, it only gives me the option of  "Connected Bank Transfer"

Other like Instant Access and Prize Savings account does though

    M&S Bank ISA

Setting one of these up for some easy DD generation now you can pay in to several cash ISAs in the same tax year. Should I apply online then follow up with the paper form, or should I just send the form in?
  • Just stumbled across this, great idea.

Are there any that allow deposits by Apple Pay just out of interest (T212 and Revolut are the ones that come to mind)?

Certainly none of the traditional savings accounts that I'm aware of will. Is there a reason why you need Apple Pay rather than just using the debit card directly?

    Scottish Friendly

seems to say in their T&Cs you can set up a monthly £10 direct debit or a one off £100 direct debit when setting up a S&S ISA

EDIT: Allows to select the DD date between 1st and 2nd when registering

Also seems to offer a “my rewards” voucher “up to” £55 if opening an account before 30th April as well as a “Benefits card”

Those using Revolut as a debit card payment for NatWest Group may be interested in the following, via Andy Webb:

Sounds like a NatWest issue rather than a Revolut issue.  Plenty of other ways of creating transactions for £xx.01 and it sounds like NatWest would be equally unhappy with those.

Thought recently about a solution to direct debits. I have a few credit cards I don't use presently. Spend a minimal amount each month (just a couple of quid) and have a pay in full direct debit set up on that card. Requires remembering to spend on a particular card once a month but can't see why it wouldn't work?

I do this for one of my lesser used CCs for a few recurring subscriptions that I can't pay by DD (Netflix, etc) - whack them on the card and then set a DD to pay off the card in full. You just need to be aware of the date the DD is to be taken. If it falls at the start/end of the month it might fluctuate around a bit due to weekends/bank holidays, so if you're using it for meeting a reward criteria or something (eg. Barclays Blue Rewards) then it might be worth asking your provider to move the date around to something mid-month to make sure it qualifies in the month you want. Otherwise works as you'd expect
