I've discovered Hanley Economic BS's systems allow you to make 1p deposits by debit card online. I only did the one 1p debit card deposit as a test though so don't know how many they'd let you do before becoming irritated.

With regards to multiple DDs they have told me that only one DD may be paid into each account per month, however you may open multiple GIAs and deposit into each once per month. All deposits must come from your nominated account and you may only hold one nominated account irrespective of how many accounts you open and all DDs are taken on 2nd of each month.Chip are currently offering a prize draw in which one person will receive a bonus equal to their September deposits above the total balance of their account on 1/9/23 (min £1, max £85k). This has now been added as a remark.Marsden BS allow deposits into their savings accounts in branch, when I messaged them they wouldn't specify a minimum debit card deposit amount but did say that there is a cap of £1k per transaction.3
