Whatever you choose make sure it runs a proper 64bit Android (assuming you get android not iPhone) as some banking apps won't run otherwise.3

The issue you may have is that the cheapest phones will have poor cameras and will not receive a security updates for long.Outeast1000 said:I want to get a cheap smartphone to send e-mails , take photographs and most important register and log in to my Bank app

I would either consider a refurbished iPhone (8 or above) or for Android a Nokia G60 or G22.1 -

Would a 2nd hand phone be ok ?0

If it’s refurbished by a reputable company then it should be okay. Otherwise, if buying second hand make sure you have a guarantee from the seller (eg cEx , Music Magpie etc)Outeast1000 said:Would a 2nd hand phone be ok ?1 -
I bought an ‘Excellent’ refurbished Samsung from Amazon and it’s like new.1

Plenty of companies that sell online offer a no quibble 14 day returns policy so you can order one and if you don't like it send it back.I did that recently with GiffGaff no problems at all.It has been a long time since I bought a new phone, now buy refurbished ones.Things that are differerent: draw & drawer, brought & bought, loose & lose, dose & does, payed & paid1

I second the Motorola phones as a great option. My wife and I have had a sequence of the Moto G-series phones, from the G4 initially and then each change we've only looked for the next version so I currently have the G7 Power and my wife the G9. They are great phones and have fantastic battery life. That offer linked above seems pretty good - thinking of grabbing one myself.2
