Do people really use a card 20 times a month?
I set up a £1/day auto top up on Amazon for the TSB card, takes a few seconds to set up and then you just leave it doing it's thing.  Easiest way to qualify :)
Can the accumulated £20 at Amazon be 'cashed out' to your bank account or do you need to spend it on buying something on Amazon?

I seem to recall reading a post where they said it cannot be 'cashed out' and needs to be spent for purchases on Amazon.

They accumulate in an Amazon gift card, so Yes, needs to be spend on Amazon purchases.

    This is not investment advice.
Your money may go "down and up and down and up and down and up and down ... down and up and down and up and down and up and down ... I got all tricked up and came up to this thing, lookin' so fire hot, a twenty out of ten..."

I have an old unused Classic Plus account. Is it easy enough to convert this online to a S&S account (here https://www.tsb.co.uk/general/change-your-account), then set up £1 per day Amazon deposit to harvest the £5 a month for 6 months? I'm not interested if it requires a branch visit. How long does it take them to convert the account? Request it on the first working day of the month because it's based on calendar rather than opening/conversion date? TIA

My account comes with a spend on cardless 20 times in a month, get £5. However the card payments go out days after ive actually spent them so TSB wont give me the £5. Anybody else had this?
Ignore when you used your Debit card. Just refer to when they hit your online transaction, when it is actually debited from your account. Also keep in in mind if for whatever reason the money is returned to your account, it does not count.
For that reason it is important to spend it and check it  few days before the final day of the month.
In April even if you payed on the 27th it didn't debit the account until 2nd

If you want to play save, at least five working day before the end of a calendar month.
In one occasion I also missed my £5 due to lack of attention and I learnt it.

It's actually due to lack of detail on the relavant TSB web page.

    You can stop blaming yourself.

It's also easy to cancel/pause payments. So if don't want full 30/31 going in, just after the required number of payments change the next date to start on 1st of the following month (or whichever date). Though TBH the £30pm probably doesn't cover my monthly spend there :D
