filled aos todayWith a Claim Issue Date of 25th April, and having filed an Acknowledgment of Service in a timely manner, you have until 4pm on Tuesday 30th May 2023 to file your Defence.
That's over three weeks away. Plenty of time to produce a Defence, but please don't leave it to the last minute. To create a Defence, and then file a Defence by email, look at the second post in the NEWBIES thread.Don't miss the deadline for filing a Defence.
Do not try and file a Defence via the MoneyClaimOnline website. Once an Acknowledgment of Service has been filed, the MCOL website should be treated as 'read only'.
just confirming with a issue date of 25th April do I definitely have until 4pm Tuesday 30th may. As I’ve read it’s 28 days plus 5 days. So assuming it would be 28th may.0 -
28th is a Sunday, 29th a Monday (and Bank Holiday) - these will never be deadline dates for a submission of a defence. You need to trust @KeithP's advice.mohammadb1234 said:

Sorry for 2nd guessing. Just wanted to be safe. My fault for leaving it until last minute. Will submit on Tuesday so that’s it’s during working hours. Thanks for all your help.KeithP said:

Items 8, 9 and 10 on that list might be worth another read too.1 -
