ive just filed an aos online. Just needed help with my defence.
Issue date was 25/04/2023
filled aos today
filled aos today
I parked in a private car park on 06/09/22 and didn’t have a valid permit. Received a fine through the post.
I have used this car park before but only realised after receiving the fine that they now have a camera for parking tickets.
It’s the back of a local charity shop where I usually park when dropping off clothes for charity. And would have been parked for maybe 5-10 minutes.
Any help with defence is appreciated

Which parking company, which solicitor?
ETA I really must learn to read the title of the thread and not just the OP
Did you try Plan A, which is explained in the NEWBIES thread and is basically a demand that the landowner gets the speculative invoice cancelled, as well as a complaint to your MP.3 -
Just copy the defence by @Johny86 (edit paras 2, 3 and 4, don't use his) as seen in all other current DCBLegal threads.PRIVATE 'PCN'? DON'T PAY BUT DON'T IGNORE IT (except N.Ireland).

filled aos todayWith a Claim Issue Date of 25th April, and having filed an Acknowledgment of Service in a timely manner, you have until 4pm on Tuesday 30th May 2023 to file your Defence.
That's over three weeks away. Plenty of time to produce a Defence, but please don't leave it to the last minute. To create a Defence, and then file a Defence by email, look at the second post in the NEWBIES thread.Don't miss the deadline for filing a Defence.
Do not try and file a Defence via the MoneyClaimOnline website. Once an Acknowledgment of Service has been filed, the MCOL website should be treated as 'read only'.4 -

I haven’t tried these steps. I just ignored it until now. Should I try it now?Boat_to_Bolivia said:Which parking company, which solicitor?

A heads-up - never use the word "fine" in any correspondence - you will not find that word in any communication from the ppc.
Have you submitted any correspondence that outed the driver i.e. "I parked" etc?.3 -

I’ll try only post the paragraphs I change1505grandad said:A heads-up - never use the word "fine" in any correspondence - you will not find that word in any communication from the ppc.
