Yep, I have kept the tab with the checklist open and I referred back to it when the e-mail arrived. I'll start on my WS but it was nearly 6 years ago so not sure how detailed they want it to be. I'll get photos to show the rubbish signage, thank you for that. Thanks @Boat_to_Bolivia, I'll look at those now.KeithP said:You were expecting that, weren't you?
There is nothing stopping you starting your Witness Statement now - while you still remember the detail. Also worth gathering evidence now - for example, pictures of signs before they are changed and the images you want are no longer available.0 -
Don't forget to mention in your WS that this happened on "an unremarkable day almost 6 years ago".2

Having reviewed the content of your defence, we write to inform you that our client intends to proceed with the claim.J
Just a sad old copy and paste from DCBL
AND IT GETS FUNNIER ....
Without Prejudice to the above, in order to assist the Court in achieving its overriding objective, our client may be prepared to settle this case -
Assist the court, WHAT A JOKE ? THEY ARE FAMOUS FOR WASTING THE COURT'S TIME AND TAX PAYERS MONEY2 -
@patient_dream the courts must get so fed up of them. It would assist the court if they would just stop.1

Update
I got a call from DCB Legal today asking if I would be willing to settle outside of court with no prejudice. I laughed and told them that I'm very happy to go to court. Still waiting on my Directions Questionnaire - it's been over 11 weeks since I submitted my defence. Working on my WS.1 -
Help, please.
I just received my Directions Questionnaire and it's dated 2nd August and states that it must be completed by 21st August. The postmark on the envelope is 24th August and I'm already out of date. What can I do? I did not receive a copy via e-mail.0 -
We've seen late DQs quite a lot recently.dza said:Help, please.

Just complete and return it, remembering to send a copy to DCBL.2 -
Once again I refer you to that checklist you were following when you filed a Defence.
This time items 8, 9 and 10 on that list are pertinent.2
