Yes I saw that and amended my post.  Depends if the OP was informed about that hearing or not.  Possibly an old address was being used by the court after a year-long COVID delay?

I just cant understand how they are chasing something from 2021 and applying the Debt recovery now 2 years later.

To further answer your questions I was in the same address since 2021 and have not moved.

Yes but this is about a claim you defended.  Why didn't you attend the hearing in 2021?

I suspect you moved in between defending the claim in 2020 then there was a year's silence due to COVID (and you moved in 2021 and thought the claim was indefinitely stayed or something).  Am I right?

Honestly I can’t remember. I would not have left that hanging like that.  Tbh that moment in time during covid was a very difficult time for me as I lost a few people to the pandemic. As you can understand my mind was quite literally all over the place. I can’t honestly give a concise answer but I would have noticed a court order.  I honestly don’t know.

All of the addresses had the same address. I haven’t moved like ever lol.

I’ve also been trying to get in touch with Swindon county court. They don’t seem to pick up the phone, like ever.  I have submitted a email and am awaiting a response. 

With regards to the enforcement agents. How long do you think until they turn up at my door. Can you guys advise ?

But why not email a N244 anyway or send one in with a cheque or Postal Order (from a PO) for £14 and apply to 'stay the writ' because you knew nothing about the 2021 hearing or the CCJ, or the judgment of the court in your absence. Your application will be returned to you if there is no writ.

I saw the N244 form online. I’m happy to fill that in. 

Who would I email that too if I fill in it electronically and how would I then pay £14 if that was submitted online. 

@Coupon-mad sorry for the constant questions. I’m completely in the dark here.
