Is there a non-app version of Chase?

I forgot to get back onto topic - regarding Chase on the OPs handset, it's the use of Android 11 GO that's caused the problem with Chase.
It's a £90 phone brand new right now, certain specs are lower meaning it has to run this Android GO. It's likely lots of handsets in this price range will also suffer from this problem.0 -

It may be ok with Google or Samsung. Perhaps someone can recommend a cheaper android that will get updates for some time.

IIRC, it has to be more advanced 64-bit architecture, not 32-bit. And I don't think this has anything to do with 'security'.

As I said in my post "Perhaps someone can recommend a cheaper android that will get updates for some time." Android fans can stand down.
I admit it's the first I have heard of this "Android go", did you purchase phone from a national carrier? One could argue they should carry a warning that the phone is useless in some respects.0 -

ETA: Your smartphone will need to ... have access to Google Play on Android 8.1 and above - https://www.chase.co.uk/gb/en/support/downloading-the-chase-app/

The various suggestions of buying a new phone are interesting but not actually helpful to the question asked by the OP. Which was whether there's a non-app version of Chase, which of course there isn't..
Whilst the discussion does highlight the issues of how phones do get out of date, any suggestion of buying a new phone merely to be able to open a Chase account is a big departure from money saving. Chase accounts have some benefits, but not enough to justify buying a new phone!3 -

No, Chase only exists as an app. Unfortunatly you won't be able to bank with them if you don't have a compatible mobile phone.
The Chase UK app works perfectly well on my iPad and I am sure it will also work on other tablet devices.
To be fair the OP asked if it was only available on the app, and this is correct. Nevertheless I believe it is useful for them to know it is not limited just to compatible phones.0 -
Cheaper Androids have 32bit encryption, Chase app requires at least 64bit encryption.
That's the reason why cheap Androids don't work. Pretty sure all banks will move to this better standard sooner or later0 -

Oh, I thought this forum would email me when there were replies. Apparently not! Thanks everyone for your replies.
My phone already runs apps for Halifax, Santander, TSB and Chip and I've never had any security issues. I guess Chase are just EXTRA, extra cautious. I already have a decent forex card and I get cashback on *some* things, so I don't think an expensive new phone is going to be worth it, just for Chase.1
