The problem with both yahoo and anything Microsoft (Hotmail, outlook etc) is that they decide their own reputation of source emails, that is,  if they see a lot of emails come in from a remote mail server and the recipients don't open them or delete them without reading, they profile that source as likely being spam and simply reject the emails.

They are also pretty faceless and next to impossible to contact and escalate to get unblocked.  A right load of fun if you deliver stuff like e receipts, gift aid notifications etc. Honestly Yahoo and Microsoft simply shouldn't be allowed to run an email service.

I open my emails daily and delete them when read. I received Sainsburys Energy emails since Sept 2021 until March 2023 without a glitch.  I have received Sainsburys (online shopping) emails for much longer than that so this blocking is puzzzling.

So you must use Gmail or snail mail or you are too ashamed to name your email provider.

It doesn't have to be emails to you.  it's emails from a mail server, if their algorithm sees emails from that IP address not being read or deleted without being read often, they will simply stop accepting the mail so it will never make it to your spam folder let alone inbox.

As to who I use,  I use a combination of Gmail and my own mail server with my own domain. Unlike Microsoft and Yahoo, Google tend to accept pretty much any RFC compliant email rather than reject them if they feel like it on any particular day. I'm on Sainsburys Energy and have no problems with their emails being delivered to a Gmail account.

As an aside, emails from Sainsburys will look completely different to Yahoo than ones from Sainsburys Energy, the later will originate from Eons servers.
