Tips to do to increase my Property value

I am planning to do some small renovations to increase the value of the property:
I am planning to do the following:
1) I am planning to install a new oak engineered flooring as I have realized that there is a big difference in terms of pricing, with some lower end range cost approx. around 30 GBP per square meter and higher end around 60 GBP+. I have a house of approx. 75 sqm sqm excluding bathroom.
My first question:
Can I do a tongue and groove flooring job DIY or I have to seek for a professional fitter? If I seek for a professional fitter, how much is he going to charge me, provided that the flooring is already oiled?
Do you think that this investment would be worth it and do you think that this will have a positive impact on the valuation of the property? Can you Please advice?
What are the advantages of putting solid oak engineered flooring?

It's going to make SFA difference to the value of your property. To increase the value over and above regular HPI you need to increase the size e.g. add an extension or make the unmortgageable mortgageable.

As above, don't waste your money. The new owner might hate it and rip it up. It's going to have a negligible value on your property.2

Will i be able to DIY this project? If not how much are the fitting costs?0 -
Ask for a quote if you want too find out how much it might cost to have the flooring fitted. Can you do it yourself? Only you know the answer to that.As already stated by others it won't make much difference to the house price so you might be out of pocket for no reward.Things that are differerent: draw & drawer, brought & bought, loose & lose, dose & does, payed & paid0

It 'may' make your house more saleable if the old flooring is looking tired, assuming a potential buyer likes that style of flooring, but it won't add any value to the property.
Cosmetic changes don't add any value as they are entirely personal taste, they are just things you do to make your home fit in with your style

Are you selling your property? I wouldn’t put new flooring in
a) it won’t add anything to the value
b) it’s personal taste. Some will love it and others will rip it up

If something needs done (because decor etc is tired / damaged) then it will improve marketability, which might help push the price up.
But your ideal buyer might be somebody who plans to cover all the floors with carpet, or who e.g. doesn't like your new kitchen, so it probably won't increase the objective market valuation of the property.
Of course if you're planning to still live there for another few years and enjoy your improvements, go ahead.1 -
If you are planning to sell soon, then I suggest you discuss any alterations you are thinking about doing with an eye to increasing value or speed of sale with the estate agent you will be using. They can see the exact property and should know the local market.
But a banker, engaged at enormous expense,Had the whole of their cash in his care.

No value as the new owners will probably unfortunately rip it up and put some kind of plastic looking flooring down.
same with kitchens, don't install a new kitchen.Houses usually increase in value by adding space or by the area becoming more popular.0
