That's not a reason to complain, so not sure why you think that would bother me. Being messed around for hours though through ridiculous processes and staff who don't have a clue it's a genuine reason to be unhappy.Band7 said:

I would certainly pursue the issue that they would not return the funds to the account from which they came. If you cannot validate to their requirements they would have to do that at some point, they can't just hold on to your money.housebuyer143 said:

So turns out this is all sorted now. Computer system went nuts and did something it shouldn't have done.
As a goodwill gesture I got £75 so shawbrook are in my good books again 😂6 -
