I had a Holly Hobbie bag. It had a front pocket with a little soft doll in it.  I loved it! 😍

Cashback sites are brilliant. Over the years I've literally had £100's for things I was going to buy anyway. Also don't forget about survey sites. Prolific is quite good but there's lots of questions to answer about yourself first. It does help to get more surveys about things you're likely to know or have some kind of opinion about.

I'm also a Monzo cheerleader. I love, love, love my pots and they have revolutionised my way of spending/ saving. I have pots for petrol, days out, eating out, child benefit that have money at the start of the month but get emptied as and when they need to then pots for future things,  car maintenence, insurance, passport renewals, Christmas, birthdays etc. It's really helped me budget and not rely on credit.

    Keep going 💪

  • Aww lovely 😊

Another fan of Prolific here, and I generally don't like surveys 😊

I've never tried Monzo. Might be worth me looking into. X

I just have a basic monzo account, no overdraft or anything. I mainly opened it to have somewhere for my "pocket money" but it's become so much more for me being able to put money out of the joint account so it doesn't just get spent.

While we are talking about monzo ..I sent some money to my monzo account from another bank at 7 this morning and its still not in my account.  Anyone else experienced this? My old bank shows transfers immediately.

Not something I've experienced. Usually get the cha-ching straight away.

Thanks. Rang the other bank ..they'd put a hold on it as its a large amount and first time sending to that account. All sorted.

Also set up pots in my monzo account.  I get two paydays each month. My pension on the penultimate working day of each month is a set amount, my wage from current part time job is paid every 4th week and varies according to hours worked. They'll both be paid into my current account where essential bill DDs will come out of, then I'm moving amounts into four pots: .....
Only 4? I have around 15, and when my salary is paid it gets sorted into them all automatically: spends, food, bills, petrol, car, cat, hair etc etc Most are locked & hidden too so I can't see the balance & dip into it. My EF is tucked away in an NS&I savings account 😉
