Reducing allocation of Nectar Points by the Daily Mail

I do not like spinning the wheel, getting mostly 1. Is there any tip how to spin to get higher points? My subscriptions is also coming to an end. I am going to stop as other half usually forget to take vouchers.0

I’m getting mostly 1 point. Wasn’t it supposed to be a fun way of collecting points. Nothing fun about it. Plus the wheel wouldn’t spin the other day and when I tried to enter the numbers again I got the ‘too bad’ message! It adds an unnecessary extra step that’s annoying to me.“It was only a sunny smile, and little it cost in the giving, but like morning light it scattered the night and made the day worth living.”

I cannot see how this thing is not rigged.
When I've got my 310 points for entering all of May's numbers I'm cancelling the subscription.
It isn't worth it.0 -

The wheel just upped and disappeared.
You have to phone them up. They will credit you a nominal number of points, (I was credited with 5 because let's face it, they're oh so generous!).
They appear on your account usually within 72 hours.0 -
Exciting new deliberate con to drastically cut Nectar points awarded.
Previously 10 a day, now mainly single digit, mainly 1

Yes, I am averaging about 1 to 2 points per day now.
Over the last couple of years it has reduced from 100 per week (2021) to 70 per week up till towards the end of April 2023, (for subscribers).
For me, over the whole of the month of May I have averaged just over 44 points per week, but I can see that average is coming down for June. They obviously want to scrape back the loss for the 310 bonus points they have promised for a 31 day entry in May.
You have to ask the question, having raised the subscription and reduced the perk of the nectar point build up, is it worth it.
There is no extra benefit from being a subscriber, or at east they aren't being clear about it. You could purchase the paper and enter the numbers and still spin the wheel on the odd day and not be committed to buying every day.
It would save me a fortune. I could put the money to something more useful and certainly enjoyable, like some new golf clubs, and to hell with reading about bloody Phillip Schofield, adverts for sodding cruises and elasticated trousers.
The only sections that are worth reading are Littlejohn, who seems to be on holiday quite a lot and the financial section.
Otherwise I would not bother.
I am going to contact them in the next couple of weeks and demand a better deal. If I don't get one I'll end the subscription.
Hands up if you are with me!2 -
Definitely contact them and threaten to not to renew you subscription. I bet they will fall over themselves to offer you a better deal.I have actually done okay the last 9 days on spinning the wheel, 2,1,1,10,10,5,2,10,5 = 46 divided by 9, the equivalent of about 5 points a day. Funny how it never lands on the 20 points though!0

For no apparent reason my Nectar account has been credited with 10 Bonus points from the Mail on Friday, 9 June.
Anybody else had this?0
