My last 6 days points have been:-
    Today 1
    Tuesday 1
    Monday 5
    Sunday 4
Saturday 0 - Wheel failed to appear
    Friday 3
That's an average of 2.333 points a day for the last 6 days.
Have I just been unlucky, or after a generous start, was introducing the wheel just a way for paying out less Nectar points?
I've been getting disappointing 1s and 2s over the weekend.  I'm wondering if anyone can actually achieve the highest score on the wheel which is 20.

How random is it?  Or is it, as I suspect, rigged?

It would be interesting to contact the people responsible for the wheel and find out the odds.

That apart, I was owed 9 points from 11 May.  They were showing as only "issued", whereas everything before and after were "credited".

It took three sodding phone calls and "chat" messages to rectify it.  I wasn't giving up on it.  Its all their fault its come down to this penny pinching.
  • My Average is 8.33. I have written and complained to the DM much in the same vein as those above. They will be losing my custom if they don't improve. I would rather give my money to my local Newsagent who is struggling thanks to these tactics.

5 points yesterday, 2 points today.

So taking into account I was getting 10 per day before the introduction of the "exciting wheel of fortune", over just two days I'm 13 points down.

There's nobody going to convince me that this system isn't rigged.

Before it was a reasonable deal.  I felt rewarded for having taken out a subscription and paid in advance.  It works out I'm not really better off for saving around £9.60 per month.

£321.60 per year I'm forking out for this.  Is it really worth it?

Have you tried to negotiate a cheaper price when your subscription is up for renewal?
A friend of mine has a subscription to The Times. Every time his cheap subscription comes to an end, he phones them to cancel, and always gets offered another 6 months or so at a knockdown price.

It's a rolling thing on DD.

Don't think it's like Sky or anything like that.

I spoke to a guy this morning at MyMail.

I entered my numbers as is my habit, and the wheel appeared.  Then it disappeared.  I wasn't allowed to spin it.

I rang up and complained and they added 5 points to my account, to be credited within 72 hours.  The last time I took issue with them it took several phone calls to get the points credited.  Not good.

My other concern was that because of this I was worried that the bonus points for entering numbers every day in May would not be credited (by 21 June).  When phoning to complain, I get credited with "goodwill points".  According to the guy, he says I will as long as I enter the numbers every day.

Let's see.  I can foresee a battle.  I am keeping everything that's been sent to me and a record of conversations.

Still getting below average - 1 point today!

Coincidentally, don't know if anyone else has received their post today, but I have had a letter informing me my subscription is rising in July to £30.33 from £26.40.

I think they are extracting the urine!

My last week's points have been 1,1,4,5,2,1,4.

I would definitely phone them & say you regrettably feel you need to cancel your subscription.....unless they can offer you a better deal. I'd be amazed if they don't offer you a better deal.
  • As already been said what a waste of time.  You have to now do an additional process to spin the wheel for less reward.
However perhaps although I doubt it, the Daily Mail is running an under cover operation showing that all gamblers are losers, or is it Daily Mail readers.
