DCB Legal - Letter Before Claim

Just to add that if you have County Court Claim Forms with an Issue Date of 27th March 2023 and you did not file an Acknowledgment of Service before 18th April, then the Claimant has been free to seek a Default Judgment against you from that April date.
Did you file an Acknowledgment of Service before 18th April?
What does the MCOL Claim History say for each of your claims?
It might be an idea to copy and paste those histories here.3 -
Your thread heading says it's only LBC stage.
But then you say:
"The tickets are in various stages of the process. I've followed the guidelines for the first and the other two are now at the Letter Before Claim stage."
What do you mean by "The tickets are in various stages of the process. I've followed the guidelines for the first"?
What guidelines/stage for the first?
And when you talk about "issue dates" are you talking about court claims or only LBCs?PRIVATE 'PCN'? DON'T PAY BUT DON'T IGNORE IT (except N.Ireland).

DCB Legal say a CCJ has been added to my credit file against me. Nothing is showing on experian as yet but they say it takes a month to show. Both claims have the 27 March issue date and both have exactly the same format.

Those images show your full name, your vehicle's registration mark and your MCOL password.
But now I think privacy is the least of your worries.
Now please answer the question...
Did you file an Acknowledgment of Service before 18th April?

Sorry for the confusion, both these tickets are in the LBC stage with a date of 27th March, yet DCB Legal are saying they've now raised a CCJ against me when I'm yet to file my defences. I'm not sure if they're lying or just trying it on, but i'm very concerned as I can't have my credit score jepordised.

No, I didn't. Is this why they've issued a CCJ? Should i just pay them off?

Oh dear. I am sorry to say, they are not.
Claim form is not LBC stage.
The clue is in the word 'before' in the LBC acronym. This is not before a claim. Those are claims.
If you didn't acknowledge these court claims you are going to have to pay them in full. I am so sorry.PRIVATE 'PCN'? DON'T PAY BUT DON'T IGNORE IT (except N.Ireland).

Yes. You now need to pay the claim amount in full asap in order to stop the CCJ trashing your credit rating for the next 6 years.2

Thanks for the heads up, I'll get those paid this week.
