DCB Legal - Letter Before Claim

Hi, i have around 3 x outstanding tickets that DCB Legal are chasing me on. These tickets were given in my own space and I refuse to pay as I live there.
The tickets are in various stages of the process. I've followed the guidelines for the first and the other two are now at the Letter Before Claim stage where I need to email off my defence. I'm yet to do this as I'm incredibly busy at work.
As such, I've just called DCB Legal to offer a small payment for two of these tickets as. They've really paniced me as they say a court judgement has been put out against me and if i don't pay within the month, it'll affect my credit rating. They want £260.00. per ticket.
They say it's not a scam and now I'm very concerned. What should I do next, I'm really confused as to what stages these fines are at, but I won't be paying £260 per ticket for a space that's allocated to me.

You say "a court judgement has been put out against me".
What exactly does that mean?
Do you have a County Court Judgment or do you have a County Court Claim?
Do you have more than one County Court Judgment?
Do you have more than one County Court Claim?3 -
Thanks Keith, I believe it's a county court claim, my second with DCB Legal. I'm going to call them up again and re-confirm. But I fear I may have to pay both these tickets as I don't want my credit rating affected.

Don't call anyone... they will trick you into saying the wrong thing.
Your credit rating won't be affected even if you lose a court claim.
Only if you fail to pay the prescribed amount after a Judgment has been made - usually you get two weeks to make that payment - will a lasting CCJ be marked on your 'credit rating'.4 -
Thanks for reassuring me Keith, from what I understand, this hasn't even gotten that far as I'd not submitted my defence as yet.

I think that has already been addressed, hasn't it?
So you have two County Court Claim Forms.rocco1998 said:Both issue dates are 27th March
Both those Claim Forms have an Issue Date of 27th March 2023.
Is that right?
Have you filed an Acknowledgment of Service for either of those Claims?
Are the Particulars of Claim identical?
Please can you show us the PoCs with all your personal information redacted of course.rocco1998 said:I'm going to call the county court to see what they say.
They will not give advice.
