flight changed by two hours

Options
Easyjet changed both our outbound and inbound flights by two hours 15 minutes, then two weeks later changed them again to two hours. So our flights were going out and coming back two hours earlier than originally booked. We cannot travel because of this, but trying to get an answer from Easyjet about refunds etc is difficult. Does anyone know if we are entitled to any monies back once we click the Cancel button? Thanks

refund only due if change classed as 'significant'
EasyJet count 5 hours+ as significant

The flights have been brought forward by ‘only’ 2 hours. I know that’s inconvenient but am surprised you say that means entire trips not viable? Rather than possibly lose money, couldn’t you make it work?

    Just the taxes:
    Refund of Government Tax
If you cancel, miss or do not take your flight, this does not affect the other flights on your Booking. You can claim a full refund of Government Tax (as listed in Fees and Charges) for the flight(s) you do not take. You can do this by contacting our Customer Services Team.

Humm, yes I know it sounds as though I could, but there are other issues. I will claim back the fees at least. Thank you everyone.

You may be disappointed by the amount.  You have not mentioned your route so check on the link that eskbanker gives before making your cancellation selection. Remember APD is only ex UK. I suspect travelling two hours later than planned will be the better option.

The OP may also find an admin fee is charged for the refund won't even be as much as the APD.

Easyjet don't charge an admin fee for APD refunds...however it is likely that the refund will be only £13

I received a refund of £60, so more than expected.

It is a pretty stupid system where bringing forward a flight does not automatically entitle the customer to a refund, as "significant" is something that depends on the circumstances of the individual passenger. So make a fuss and a formal complaint.

Easyjet are expert at ignoring this, but if it makes one feel better then sure.
