We just bought a kitchen from IKEA for less than 3k. I bought appliances from ao.com and husband (joiner) fitted it.

    1 tall oven housing,
1 tall unit (hides boiler and recyling)
    1 tall fridge freezer
    1 sink unit
    3 80 drawers
1 80 cupbaors (used on reverse of hob section)
    1 60 drawers
    All fitted with interior doors
    3 top units
    Worktop
    Plinths (still to fit)
    End panels

    Hope that helps

Edit: looks like you have selected with fitting.

My appliances (fridge freezer, double oven, induction hob) were £800, sink and tap (I went fancy) £350

    £2699 credit card (£3848 01.02.23)
£1023 Ski fund (cash back, interest, ebay sales only). Used in April 23
£39.75 Italy fund (cash back, interest, ebay sales only

Ur kitchen is f"*%£# beautiful, pardon my French. This is why I want to go to ikea and you more or less have the same number of units. So ikea did not install anything for you?

I did read, but  not sure if it's true, that ikea appliances are built for them by the same people who make Beko and a few other budget brands.

Not that there is anything wrong with Beko, I have had one of their fridge freezers for 15 years with no issues, but they are budget items, and not £800 ones !

I think your main problem apart from the appliances is the fitting charges. Ikea seem pretty expensive for doing this and to be honest most handymen or half competent DIYer could fit them as they are only flat pack ready made units and not anything special

Out of curiosity I checked their induction hob for £315.
For £329 in Currys you can get  AEG with more advanced touch slider controls.
I think this indicates that IKEA appliances are overpriced.

I was told not to get Ikea appliances by a repair guy because they are normally unbranded and so it's very hard if but impossible to source replacement parts.
I would say get your own appliances direct. I recently did my kitchen and got a hob, extractor, oven, built in microwave, dishwasher and built in fridge/freezer for under £1.5k. Everything is really nice for the money as well. You can get out cheaper again if you go for budget items.
Boots appliances I was really impressed with.

Why, thanks you! No,they didn't install anything. We worked iut exactly what we wanted unit wise and had a consultancy with one of their staff and ta da...

Haha, not quite, we did tonnes of work, it wasn't a like for like situation, the whole room is completely different. Hence the reason it's not finished.

We did get our kitchen before Christmas, I think prices may have gone up a little, and I did put it on interest free credit from them.  Be careful, they will add the more expensive version of everything too. I didn't opt for any fancypants inside cupboards either, other than cutlery dividers.

When it comes to appliances I just went with the cheapest (got cashback) as I'm not bothered about a fancy fridge etc. I just want them easy to clean and to work.

We did return a few spare items and we did order the 3 top units separately as I realised there was wnoigh height to get them on. This is included in the 3k as the returns were more than the new units.

Don't forget, fitting won't be cheap though, so unless you have a kitchen fitter/joiner to hand, I would consider using their people.

Don't buy IKEA appliances, they're very poor and under featured for the price; they just rely on inertia sales from people using their kitchen planner! And don't buy IKEA sinks or anything else plumbing related as it won't be UK standard designs so you'll have a mare fitting replacement waste traps and so on.
AO are absolutely fine for buying appliances. I wouldn't use their installation service though. You won't be getting an experienced plumber or sparky. Or even someone who knows how to use a spirit level.
