I'm yet to come across a quote of more than £3000 for their units and appliances.

    You've got installation on there.

Most people on here wouldn't have chosen installation.  I bought one in 2011 and it was £4,000 without installation but including appliances.  I would expect installation probably double the price.

Are those prices on there not installing ? The two that are £525 and £479 seem to be installation charges?

I just posted the appliances only and it comes to £7000+. How did you get yours for almost half of that?

Oh yes but that is not included in the actual cost of the units and appliances

2011... It's 2023. That's what inflation will do to you.

12 years ago - inflation. £4000 then is £6000 now.

Indeed, I also bought 5 appliances but they were low down the range, not £800. I don't they sold anything that pricey back then.

Had gas instead of induction and already owned the fridge freezer.

I think a lot is the items you are choosing ( for some reason though it seems to have two washers and and two dishwashers listed ? )

But stuff like £150 for a tap, and nearly £1000 for a fridge freezer cupboard and £342 for a microwave cupboard add a lot. Then £800 for the fridge freezer and £800 for the washing machine, £565 for the dishwasher etc...

Personally I think Ikea are very overpriced, particularly for their cabinets, but the appliances are all pretty expensive for what they are as well.

A quarter of your whole price is just the fridge freezer and cupboard for it to go in.... Do you really need an £800 one and does it have to go in a cupboard ?  The actual fridge freezer is probably no better than a £350 one

You're right but even when I use their kitchen planner for a base model without customisation the very least it quotes for a one sided room is £3,052.
