I will look into it.

Co-op Bank Rewards is £15 a month to age 80, covers cruises.JGB1955 said:Have you looked at Travel Insurance linked into your bank account? Nationwide is £13 per month up to 70 years old. We will be adding cruise cover later this year.

Thats because as per the example claim above, people who are seriously ill often get transported to the US rather than stay on the local islanddavelewis said:Unfortunately they seem to lump the Caribbean in with the USA for travel insurance which makes it much more expensive. Could you consider a Mediterranean cruise?1 -
Yes I expect so .

Thank youSuggestion - call the insurance company who do Co-op Bank Everyday Extra Rewards travel cover and get their medical screening staff who can talk you through existing conditions and what any additional costs may be. Unless the number has changed it's 0344 249 9983 - option 2 - then either option 2 or 3, as appropriate. They were very helpful.Explain that you are considering opening this account but wish to know the implications of your conditions. That's what we did before opening this account, as Co-op Bank didn't appear to realise the "Catch 22" scenario of opening the account without knowing the travel cover limitations if the applicant had pre-existing conditions.AFAIK Osteoporosis is one that can be covered without additional cost - if declared. Also check for cruise cover - it is included in our policy.

Are you sure, it isn't mentioned in the policy terms linked from that Co-op page?NoodleDoodleMan said:Also check for cruise cover - it is included in our policy.

It was included when I called up the insurance firm a few months ago.eskbanker said:

Do you mean that it was included as standard or that you bought a cruise add-on? Either way, those terms make no reference to it being included currently, so anyone looking to get cruise cover would need to obtain written confirmation over and above the standard policy terms....NoodleDoodleMan said:

I don't have a bank acct with I surance cover. Thanks0

The suggestion is presumably that it's cheaper to open a bank account with insurance cover than to buy a standalone policy separately, but the devil is in the detail so it's important to ensure that the cover actually meets your needs....Silverbird65 said:I don't have a bank acct with I surance cover.
