Only if you have already submitted your WS with exhibits. You haven't actually told us whether you have done this.

I haven’t submitted my WS as this was due tomorrow, however on then15/11/23 I received an email (that I hadn’t seen until late tonight) that said “

We act for the Claimant in the above matter.

Our client has instructed us to discontinue Court proceedings and close our file. Therefore, please find enclosed the Claimant’s N279 Notice of Discontinuance for your records.

The attached has also been filed with the Court.

We will now proceed to close our file accordingly.

I’m have just emailed the court to confirm that

No further action is required by myself

    Calling @Umkomaas

    ANOTHER ONE BITES THE DUST!

    Well done you.  Congrats!

    One favour please @lladron

If you could reply to this Inquiry that would be superb.  ...only TWO WEEKS left to do this VERY relevant Inquiry linked & discussed here:

Really relevant because the reason there are delays in the work of the county court is because up to a THIRD of all small claims are parking.

Your paperwork will be great evidence.  This is about showing how parking firms abuse the court service.  There needs to be an ADR buffer pre-action, and the "debt claims" pre-action protocol.

Asking for people's income on a 'DEBTOR reply form' is utterly inappropriate. An insult to good people afflicted by a scam parking charge.

I think if enough people say the above sort of stuff, this Justice Committee will go and talk to the DLUHC guys I'm dealing with, and hopefully recommend a new bespoke parking 'pre-action protocol' designed to stop the vast majority of cases even going to a claim.

Please do the Inquiry with your claim form and views.  Numbers count. Evidence is key.
