UK parking control lyd

Hi, hoping someone can help please or have a template/defence for preparing a defence for a county court claim form received from UKPC. In short, I was not the driver, I didn’t receive a letter of claim, signage is poor and had no planning permission at the time for the signage or cameras. Thanks

    Hello and welcome.

What is the Issue Date on your County Court Claim Form?

27 March, but I submitted the acknowledgment of service to extend it +14d so it should be the 28 April

With a Claim Issue Date of 27th March, and assuming you filed an Acknowledgment of Service sometime after 31st March, you have until 4pm on Tuesday 2nd May 2023 to file your Defence.

That's over two weeks away. Plenty of time to produce a Defence, but please don't leave it to the last minute.
To create a Defence, and then file a Defence by email, look at the second post in the NEWBIES thread.
Don't miss the deadline for filing a Defence.

Do not try and file a Defence via the MoneyClaimOnline website. Once an Acknowledgment of Service has been filed, the MCOL website should be treated as 'read only'.

I assume the so called legal IS DCBL as usual ?

You are of course right... UKPC signs are total crap.

Are you sure they have no planning permission and how did you find this out ?

Everything you need to know is in the Newbies/FAQ thread near the top f this forum. A skim-read will not suffice. You need to study it and use it as a reference. The second post in that thread refers to what you need to do now and how to file your defence. Here is a sample defence tat you will need to adapt for your use:

If you follow the advice and submit a robust defence, here is a thread that shows you the likely outcome of any claim by the bottom-dwelling duo of UKPC/DCB Legal:

Yes, it’s is DCBL. The planning issue was reported in the local media.
Is there a 10 minute grace that applies before
parking notices can be issued? The notice is for parking outside markings.

May well have been, but the claim isn't, because the POC doesn't say that!  There is no such allegation.  Nothing to respond to.

Read the first link by B789 and any other current DCBLegal / UKPC claim thread if you don't know what we mean.  Copy what everyone else has done in every UKPC claim thread since February.

Newbies/FAQ has the answers or where to find them, such as the Code of Practice for the ATA of the PPC. It also has a list of all the abbreviations used here.

    Not that they need it.

An easy peasy defence is recommended, as seen in all other other DCBLegal / UKPC threads since February,
