Do you have the Chase app? Take "Support" button on home page and monthly cashback is the first help page in the list of topics.adindas said:
I tried to search this info from chase but could not find it. If there is a link confirming thus from Chase ?
ThanksThanks. I could see it now. So paying £500 each month, people will still qualify for 1% cashback extension of 12 months (up to £15)I notice that you could see cashback on every transaction when you click that particular transaction, it will tell you the amount of cashback you earn on that particular transaction. When will they pay the cashback, is it after 12 month you qualify for the cashback ??0 -
Usually credited the same day/next day. It's visible under Rewards on the Spend page. Can be transferred from here to any other Chase account immediately.adindas said:I notice that you could see cashback on every transaction when you click that particular transaction, it will tell you the amount of cashback you earn on that particular transaction. When will they pay the cashback, is it after 12 month you qualify for the cashback ??1 -
If cashback is due on a transaction, the cashback amount shows instantly as pending. It usually moves out of pending within 24 hours. It can take longer if the merchant does not claim the payment swiftly.adindas saidWhen will they pay the cashback, is it after 12 month you qualify for the cashback ??0 -
Just a random comment i deliberately paid my cattery bill with my Chase card to get the cash back. I noticed I didn’t get any and it seems they must be using some random category of spend that falls outside the criteria so if using a local merchant don’t always assume cashback is coming.0

This is strange, there is no cattery on exclusions list https://www.chase.co.uk/gb/en/legal/Cashback-Exclusions/RedImp_2 said:Just a random comment i deliberately paid my cattery bill with my Chase card to get the cash back. Chase cashback tends to be mainly for physical purchases, so things like insurance, utility bills and services you pay for tend to be excluded.RedImp_2 said:Just a random comment i deliberately paid my cattery bill with my Chase card to get the cash back. Despite the lack of cashback I still use Chase card for car and home insurance, saves me a hassle phoning to cancel automatic renewals if I don't want them. My "spend" account balance is always £0, I top it up for purchases 1 minute in advance so there is no chance for insurance companies to collect any money unless I want them to.refluxer said:

Does it decline then? Or is there a danger of moving into an unarranged overdraft?allegro120 said:

It would be declined. As far as I am aware, Chase doesn't do overdraft facilities.wiseonesomeofthetime said:

I've found that they are quite willing to check items you think have been wrongly categorised, or explain which exclusion a transaction falls into if unclear. I've had them manually apply cashback a couple of times.RedImp_2 said:Just a random comment i deliberately paid my cattery bill with my Chase card to get the cash back.
