I'm here for a while longer, next week, at least. I ordered an on-line delivery this week, that is mostly June stuff. It's a good job I run an annual budget or I would need to transfer things back and forth.Save £12k in 2025 #2 I am at £4863.32 out of £6000 after May (81.05%)

This weeks shopping was £70 but it was expected, I'd ran out of a lot, plus it's half term next week so needed a lot more than usual.
So my May spend ended up as £270 / £220
I think I'm going to up my target to £250 for June and see how we go

May budget £150, £123.10 spent, £26.90 left over.
No going shopping for me before June 3rd. Covid Antivirals were delivered within 24 hours and I am regaining the will to live, though not to eat anything yet.
We have enough in store, tinned and frozen fruit, and jam, if fresh runs out. Long life milk, bread flour, and about a year’s supply of WGAC loo roll.5 -

I did an online shop this week, but apart from butter and some milk and veg, most is for June, so as I work on an annual budget I have put in into the June column in my trusty spreadsheet. My spend so far is £1,199.10 excluding treats and entertainment and pet supplies, but including store-cupboard, subscriptions and DD (milk) as well as all the fresh groceries, cleaning materials, toiletries and any cosmetics from the SM. As a percentage it is 39.97% or 40%, rounded up. I hope to be under 50% by the end of June or there will be no treats for the December festive period!Save £12k in 2025 #2 I am at £4863.32 out of £6000 after May (81.05%)

thank you soon to be oap. a couple of people have offered to bring cakes with them, so less for me to buy.
another nearly £20 spent on odds and sods with £17.40 left for this week.
i will add it onto next fortnights money.
im really going to have to try and not keep getting odds and sods, as im finding ive little to show for it, although i may still need to do a few, including monday.
my freezer is playing up, and has a lot of ice at the back of the fridge, so im trying to use up whats in the freezer to defrost it, give it and clean and hope that it will work after ive switched it back on.Decluttering campaign 2023

Well, mayhem broke out on the budgetary front here. I was working away this weekend, so not able to shop at the Friday market, but I'd worked out a menu plan that meant we should be able to "coast" through & shopped accordingly, spending a total of £82.31. Then we got a message to say that my BiL & nephew were coming down, just for one night, at very short notice... panic stations! That 6'5" 17 y.o. lad has hollow legs... so everything was re-arranged, especially as I wasn't going to be here to cook. Then they couldn't come, but OH & I were both working, thus away from our "home" email, so didn't find out until the point we were expecting them to arrive! Now DD1 & BF are happily (but unexpectedly) baking a birthday cake with the last of my butter... there's less than £10 left in the budget, to feed 5 adults, but only 3 days 'til payday - do-able? Possibly...Angie - GC Jul 25: £225.85/£500 : 2025 Fashion on the Ration Challenge: 26/68: (Money's just a substitute for time & talent...)5
