We have approx £19 left until Thursday, eggs and fishfingers came out of that that today and I think we will need toilet rolls so might scrape in with £10 to spare. This week we’ve predominantly eaten veggie/vegan and it’s meant a bit of variety to our meals. I think hub is missing meat subconsciously but there is meat in so maybe he just needs to make dinner more often 😉Follow here for the daily life of an ADHD mum with 2 children and a new mortgage to pay

I can see my milkman DD will hit the account today so that is £7.40 to add to my groceries. I cancelled my big river subscriptions this month but will struggle to stay under £200 this month, having spent £71.71 on stores this month.
I have an order in my basket for just over £80, ready to go, but I think I will apportion some forward to June if I push it through, as more stores are in there, for June and beyond.
By the way, if anyone uses Nivea roll-on deodorant, it looks as though they are stopping these. I just had my subscription cancelled on me (6 for £5.19 last time) and the remaining stock looks like £26.99 for 6 on big river - so I need an alternativeSave £12k in 2025 #2 I am at £4863.32 out of £6000 after May (81.05%)

@Suffolk_lass I only buy what is about 99p (is that still a thing in today's prices?) usually a branded product too. I have a stash as they are more economical too. As I am trying to buy from home stock due to the amount of items we have in store I would stick to buying as and when. I try to get not too feminine a fragrance as DH uses it too. Just check they are 50ml bottles too

Been at least 2 weeks since I have been on here. Left my phone at dds house on mainland! £116/£150 spent so far. That is including buffet food for club lunch party so very pleased with that.

Right - I'm now up to £458.85, so just over £90, one more weekend shop & 12 days left to go - I should be able to do that. This weekend's shop added up to £74.09., which included a bulk-buy of £26.99 on 3 x 1kg bags of nuts at the Grape Tree for £20 (cashews, walnuts & hazelnuts) and one £6.99 pack of salted cashews for snacking on. The 1kg packs will last for at least a couple of months; nuts are a staple for my pescatarian DDs and also, now, for me. However, I'm trading away next weekend, so will miss the market; things may have to come from more expensive sources, so I'll need to keep a close watch on it.Angie - GC Jul 25: £225.85/£500 : 2025 Fashion on the Ration Challenge: 26/68: (Money's just a substitute for time & talent...)8

Spent £62 on the weekly shop today, more than what I wanted to spend but struggled to get it much lower, it's just crazy prices at the mo.
£200 / £220 which leaves £20 for the rest of the month which somehow I don't think I'm going to manage

I'm on a bit of a mission to start using my many, many cookbooks more and maybe even prune some from the collection if the recipes are not actually getting used. Since having a child I feel like it's restricted our eating quite a bit and now he's a little bit more grown up I'm trying to start expanding it again.9 -
£135.71 spent so far. I can see I'm slipping back into the habit of buying lunch in the canteen - veg stroganoff or pizza slice and fanta rather than bringing a sandwich, which doesn't help as that's £5 a time. Had another fancy ice cream as well (chocolate and hazelnut). Some proper food - muffins for breakfast, tomatoes, olives, milk, bread, cheese - bought.Fashion on the Ration 2025 - 1.5 coupons remaining

Declutter 7 things (net) in 2025. Done, now trying to keep it even (5 over at present).8 -
Just spent £9.60 on salad and veg bits in a garden centre shop that sources food locally.
I've just over £50 left for the next week and aim to try and do less odds and sods shopping and shop smarter.
I will be picking up fruit and cake for next Sunday as I've had my arm twisted and am hosting a get together for church. Not sure where the money is coming from, but I'm sure I will manage it somehow.
Next time and dare I say from now on, I'm going to try and stick to my guns, as a few people know my money is tight but am suddenly being expected to find money for different things.
