Had some stuff to take to the charity shop so popped into Morrisons whilst in that area and bought some fruit as nearly out. Total spend to date £33.38/£150. Still need to do some more shopping but need to go to a different town as want to go to Mr Ts.

This weekend I booked a click & collect rather than taking DD and OH to the supermarket to do the weekly shop. I also booked it so OH could collect it while I was at work to stop me popping in for extras! @Suffolk_lass I agree it's about finding our weaknesses and popping into the shop when collecting an order is definitely one of my weaknesses!
Our spends over the weekend included treats and alcohol for Eurovision so spent quite a bit but we are stocked up for the week. May need milk and salad at the end of the week but hopefully that's it.
£231.05 / £275 spent

Challenge started today as it's payday.
First ever trip to Costco and I was quite restrained, took into account that I would need to come here and declare my spend. We finished off in the cafe and I spent £8 on DS who wanted a chicken burger thingy. I just had a cup of tea and a slice of pizza.
I also dipped into the fuel fund and filled up the car, it was 20p per litre less than it is locally.
I also tried out TGTG, I need to watch that or it could get out of hand.
M*rrisons " surprise bag" generally quite poor, mainly salad stuff and some dated 13th May.
I saw A*di pop up at 9pm and came up trumps. Fruit and veg as well as bread, fresh cream cakes and some chicken satays.
I don't think I'll bother with M*rrisons again.

Morning everyone, need to catch up again. Just adding my spends of £44.75 online at Iceland, which was 8 items for £10 and then the kids picking ice creams they want, they have plenty now. And an online order on Sunday for Tesco which came to £67.20 which is most of what we should need until this Sunday. I think I’m going back to online orders and trialing the set day of Sunday to see how it goes for a few weeks. Not sure if I’ve posted every spend but have been writing them down as we go,
total so far -£224.97/400 spent.8 -
Total is at €350.26 this month so far.
We go through a lot of fruit and veg, dairy and bread products, kid snacks/lunchbox things and coffee (a kilo of beans a month at least!).
I'm on one of my "use everything up" kicks that I do about 4 times a year, where we try to eat everything in the fridge, freezer and pantry (including backstock) and only buying top ups to turn what we have into meals. A lot of odds and sods getting used up in the freezer, which is great, and not too many completely weird meals so far. Need to work out what to do with a pack of mini vol au vont cases and a pack of couscous that are staring at me every time I open the press...

A quick top-up shop of £10.61 has been added - mostly fresh bits but also some clotted cream - it seems to be scone weather, somehow! But was too busy gardening to make them. Maybe tomorrow...Angie - GC Jul 25: £225.85/£500 : 2025 Fashion on the Ration Challenge: 26/68: (Money's just a substitute for time & talent...)7
