The date on the letter is 05/04, but I wonder if the letter can be in shipping for 10 days
If the date on the letter is Wednesday the 5th April, it should have been "posted" by the 6th April. Two working days after that date is Monday 10th April. That is the date it is "deemed" to have been delivered.
Then use the date on the letter and add a day for posting.

Except 10th April was Easter Monday - a Bank Holiday. Allowing for Good Friday, the second working day after 6th April was Wednesday 12th April.
